Introduction

acro.events is a community platform for AcroYoga events. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use the site or log in with PayPal.

Data we collect

Account data you provide: full name, email address, and login tokens for email magic links. Event and profile data you enter (skills, roles, events created or joined, messages, media).

Data received from PayPal when you log in or pay: name, email, billing/shipping address (street, city, state, country, postal code), account verification status, and PayPal account ID (payer ID).

Why we collect address and location data

We use address and location data to suggest nearby events, filter and display relevant events and vendor offers by region, and to meet payment, invoicing, and fraud-prevention requirements. PayPal address data may be combined with your profile data for these purposes.

Legal basis and consent

By creating an account, logging in with PayPal, or using acro.events, you consent to processing your data for account access, event bookings and payments, and personalized event discovery based on location.

Data sharing

We share personal data only with essential providers needed to run the service: PayPal (for login and payments) and our hosting/infrastructure providers.

Data retention and deletion

We retain data while your account is active and as required for legal or accounting obligations. You can request deletion or anonymization of your account and personal data.
